We will put the tools in your hands to turn your dreams into your reception reality. We have developed an easy to understand, but comprehensive reception planning package. The planner covers just about everything you might want to do or avoid at your reception. We will be available to help guide you through the process, answer questions and make suggestions.

When you are ready, we will get together, sit down and meet to review your plan. The details are what make a reception great. Attention to detail is what makes Jon Bruce Entertainment unique! We recognize everything we say and do at your reception is direct reflection on you in the eyes of your guests. We want to learn about your personal style and tastes.

 
 

Coordination
 
 

You will have invested a significant amount of time, emotion and money by the time your wedding day rolls around. You should not have to spend your wedding day making sure things are getting done and happening according to plan.

Your wedding and reception should be the time to reap the benefits of all your work. We will take the pieces you have assembled and give it direction, emotion, and life. On you wedding day have fun, relax, enjoy!

In other words…

You and/or your Wedding planner are producing the wedding. You have selected dresses, vendors, flowers, cakes, centerpieces, table settings, and locations. These are a very important part of a wedding day but not something we do.

We will coordinate your reception plan with the professionals you have selected to make your reception great. We will work with your vendors to create a seamless, memorable event, for you and your guests.

 
 

Entertainment
 
 

A great wedding reception is a combination of many elements: Guests, Pictures, Food, Environment, and Music.

  • A reception focused on food is just dinner.
  • A reception focused on pictures is just a photo shoot.
  • A reception focused on guests is just a nice visit.
  • A reception focused on music is just a dance.

Disc Jockey
 
 

Entertainment is the cornerstone of any Disc Jockey service. Music for your reception starts with you. Your requests become the template for the reception. Entertaining involves reading the crowd, listening to requests and playing the right song at the right time. We get the crowd out of their seats and dancing to the beats.

We will respect your do not play list.

Our light show is constantly being refined to create an entertaining, audio responsive visual thrill.

 
 

Music
 
 

Our music catalog covers the range from classical to the stuff you will here on the radio tomorrow. The music for your reception starts with your requests and do not play list.

For a complete list of our catalog, choose one of the following formats. These all contain the same information. Each file is large, so print at your own risk! To download, right-click the file name and select "Save Target As".

The complete list actually just represents the music we regularly carry. We have a SUBSTANTIAL back catalog of music. If you don’t see it, just ask we will bring that too! We are dedicated to making your wedding day special. We will hunt down any requests you have.

 
 

Master of Ceremonies
 
 

The Master of Ceremonies is a very important responsibility at a wedding reception. We recognize everything we say and do at your reception is direct reflection on you in the eyes of your guests. We will honor your tastes and personal style.

Your guests need to know what is going to happen and what is about to happen throughout the reception. Your wedding party deserves introduced with proper pronunciation in a style consistent with your tastes. We will keep your guests “pointed in the right direction” so they don’t miss a moment.

We take this responsibility seriously. This is the primary reason we insist on meeting with our brides and grooms before their wedding day. This time allow us to get to know you. We will represent you when we speak in front of your guests.

We have years of experience in public speaking, facilitation, training, instruction, television voiceovers and stand up comedy. Announcements require a clear, direct voice that grabs attention and communicates effectively.
